[RECAP: PEC 1st BIRTHDAY - 10.08.2023]

You know what day is it?

PEC is turning one today!!!!

On 10 Aug 2022, Pleiku English Club is founded with the goal of creating a safe space for everyone in Pleiku, Gia Lai to practice English. Founded by 3 members (Dang Tu, Mai Ngoc Anh, Nhu Thuy), the club now has grown to a community of 300+ attendees over the year and continued its mission with incredible achievements.

For our first year, PEC had:

• 38 events hosted weekly
• 800+ visits with 20-40 attendees/ event
• 300+ individuals
• 50+ active members
• 13-35 age range
• 10 collab events with local communities: Huyen Thoai Vua Hung, TRS1 Training Center, Moon's Cafe & Farmstay, Pleiku Art Curators, Shiny Vietnamese, Pleiku Book Club, Roong Book, Meraki
• 2 foreign speakers: Mr. Jim Price & Mrs. Heather Botting
• And especially 2 new hosts: Hoang Vy and Ha Ngan

We have decided to celebrate this milestone by having a special birthday party with gift exchange activity and a banhkem xinhdeptuyetvoi from anh Huy. Shout out to anh Tu - one of the founding members who is not present today, we truly miss you
